Busco formas nuevas de habitar espacios en apariencia vacíos e inertes, donde las paredes han pasado a ser los contenedores de recuerdos obstinados; donde el tiempo parece detenido, como si nada pasara, como si nada hubiera pasado.
Con mis dibujos e intervenciones, emprendo una labor reconstructora con la que ir recomponiendo y vinculando la memoria particular y el momento histórico en que esos lugares alguna vez estuvieron habitados y cuyos pequeños detalles sugieren relatos, acciones, personas presentidas.
Mi intención es moverme en ellos sin borrar sus huellas, subrayar sus recuerdos, establecer diálogos entre los elementos presentes y ausentes, entretejer historias e inventar narraciones que son en parte reales y en parte recreadas.
I explore new ways of inhabiting seemingly empty, inert spaces. Places where the walls have become repositories for stubborn memories and time seems to stand still, as if nothing happens there and nothing ever did.
Through my drawings and interventions, I embark on a process of reconstruction, piecing together and linking specific memories and historic moments in which these places were once inhabited. Small details suggest stories, actions, and human presence.
I intend to move within these spaces without erasing their traces, to highlight their memories and set up dialogues between that which is present and that which is no longer there. In the process, I weave stories and invent narratives, part real and part recreated.
